Enjoy this tour through a few of our custom quilts.
The slide shows on this page feature many of Gypsy Dreamer Quilts' projects over the last several years. Below on the left features either original designs or quilts based on commercial patterns that were given a unique twist in color or design to make them one-of-a-kind. Some were made as class samples, others for personal use or gifting, and a few were commissioned. On the right you'll find samples of free motion quilting details on either our own or customer quilts. All quilts were custom quilted by Liz at Gypsy Dreamer Quilts on a HandiQuilter Sweet Sixteen sit-down machine using free motion designs and some ruler work.
Good Day Sunshine was my entry in a guild challenge to create a ~23"x23" quilt inspired by a Beatles song. Raw edge applique and custom quilted.
An original design One Block Wonder using a diamond layout with an all-over print, framed and bordered with a coordinating border print. A collaborative project with my husband initially started as a surprise for me as a wedding quilt that was completed together several years later. Custom quilting done by Julia Quiltoff.
Original design created with Asian themed shop-hop sampler blocks.
